Chiara Menini

After graduating from a science-focused high school specialising in Applied Sciences, with a particular emphasis on computer science, I enrolled in the single-cycle Master’s Degree programme in Law at Bocconi University in Milan. I graduated with a thesis exploring the use of blockchain technology in combating corruption in public procurement. During my studies, I also spent a semester as an exchange student at the University of Richmond in Virginia, USA.

I have continued to pursue my interest in information technology and technological innovation by completing several blockchain-focused training programmes. As part of this experience, I contributed to a project involving the tokenisation of private equity fund interests.

My professional career began in 2021, when I provided legal advice to innovative start-ups through the Legal Clinic promoted by Bocconi 4 Innovation. This experience allowed me to work alongside businesses operating in a wide range of sectors, including education, esports, e-commerce, fast fashion, pharmaceuticals and artificial intelligence.

After beginning my legal traineeship in March 2023, I qualified to practise law in September 2026. My practice focuses primarily on commercial contracts, the preparation and updating of organisational and compliance models pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, support for Supervisory Bodies, and M&A transactions, as well as civil litigation.

I am a curious, positive and highly adaptable person. I have further developed these qualities through a variety of international experiences, which have given me the opportunity to travel and engage with different cultural environments.
