ECOVIS STLex provided assistance to the German company Global Solar Equities AG in the sale of five operational photovoltaic plants located in Puglia. ECOVIS STLex, led by partners Avv. Stanislao Lucheschi and Avv. Chiara Albusceri, handled the preparation and negotiation of the M&A contractual documentation and assisted the sellers, represented in Italy by Erica Westmore, on all legal matters related to the transaction, together with Taurus Corporate Finance, a Dutch M&A boutique and member of ECOVIS, represented by Ed Koops (partner) and Roel Moser (consultant), who dealt with all strategic, financial, and commercial issues.
On the other hand, the Danish group Obton, the largest investor in solar parks in Northern Europe, was assisted in the acquisition by Green Horse Legal Advisory with a multidisciplinary team led by Carlo Montella, Managing Partner, Celeste Mellone, Partner and Co-Head of the Regulatory practice, and Simonetta Formentini.
Roedl and Watson Farley & Williams handled the process related to the early repayment of existing financing.
